In 2018 the album-book “UNESCO Treasures of Belarus” was devoted to Belarusian historical sites included into the UNESCO World Heritage list. At present it contains 4 sites in the territory of Belarus: National Park “Belovezhskaya Pushcha”, castle unit “Mir”, Struve Geodetic Arc (Russian-Scandinavian Arc), architectural, cultural and residential site of the Radzivill’s family in Nesvizh (palace complex of 16th-19th centuries and Corpus Christie Church).
The authors intended to present to the readers the unique historical values belonging not only to Belarus, but also to the whole world in order to remind us one more time about the importance of preserving the natural and cultural heritage for future generations.
