Development Cup Tournament

In 2014 the Development Bank acted as the General Partner of the event and for the first time since 2008 the Belarusian national team became the winner of the traditional Minsk international football forum.

The organization and holding of such events help to improve the skills of young football players and to select the strongest athletes to the youth football teams of the Republic of Belarus.

Over the years, the tournament enabled to reveal their skills to Yegor Filipenko, Stanislav Dragun, Denis Polyakov Oleg Veretilo, Ilya Aleksievich, Sergei Politevich and Pavel Savitsky. Today these players defend the colors of the national team of the Republic of Belarus.  During the years of the championship, Minsk was visited by many interesting teams and talented players.

For today, the largest number of victories is on account of the Russian national team, which five times won the Trophy (2008, 2010, 2014, 2015, 2017), the national teams of Belarus (2006, 2007, 2019, 2020) and Ukraine (2009, 2012, 2016, 2018) celebrated the championship four times, twice the first became team Belgium (2011, 2013). In 2005 there was no one equal to the team of Serbia and Montenegro, in 2021 - Tajikistan, in 2022 - Israel.
