Yuliya Medvedeva: since the beginning of the program of financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises 7,5 thousand projects have been financed by the Development Bank

The Development Bank has been implementing a program of financial support for small and medium-sized enterprises for many years. It provides both loans and financial lease (leasing) for projects at different stages of business development. Since the beginning of the program almost 7.5 thousand projects have been financed, their total value is about 2.2 billion rubles.

Yuliya Medvedeva, Head of the Department of SME Support of the Development Bank, says that this year the bank continues to implement a program to support small and medium-sized enterprises based on the priorities of medium-term socio-economic policy as well as the objectives of socio-economic development of the country in 2023. This means that the focus remains on investment, export and import substitution.

“Small and medium-sized enterprises are financed through partner banks and leasing organizations. The fundamental point for us is that our instruments should be available to small and medium-sized enterprises in every corner of our country. This became possible due to the extensive branch network of partners. Today we actively work with 16 banks, including all the largest, systemically important ones, as well as with 6 leasing companies”, said Yuliya Medvedeva.

The Head of the Department noted that within the framework of a new product line in 2023, financing is provided for seven products at the rate from 6.75 to 12.5% (the rate depends on changes of the refinancing rate). They are oriented to support different focus groups of entrepreneurship and our portfolio is widely diversified: there are financed projects in agriculture, food industry, production of construction materials, furniture, veterinary medicine, electrical equipment, and software and hardware complexes.

“We constantly monitor the market of credit resources, make changes in both the product line and the conditions of existing products,” noted Yuliya Medvedeva.
