A new commercial dairy complex near Voloviky village of Oshmyany district has been put into operation.
The investment project of the state enterprise “Golshany” was implemented with the credit support of the Development Bank. The agricultural organization is the winner of the competitive selection and received funding in the total amount of more than 13 million rubles.
Head of Grodno branch of the Development Bank Elena Stalbovskaya got acquainted with the result of the investment project and together with director of the enterprise “Golshany” Mikhail Skarzhinsky discussed promising areas for further cooperation.
The complex is designed to keep 1.5 thousand heads of cattle, of which 747 are dairy herds. During the construction of the agricultural facility and the purchase of equipment, advanced technologies were used that made it possible to improve production processes, create comfortable conditions for keeping animals and working villagers.
Thus, the complex is equipped with a modern milking system, self-propelled feeder, special fans and automatic scratchers. Each cow also has its own electronic identification card - a responder. This small device, equipped with a motion sensor, allows using an electronic database to trace, how many times the cow approached the feed table, to recognize the cattle when entering the milking parlor and crossing the sorting gate. Thus, with data about an animal, the herd management system can compare information about the cow's milk yield, automatically feed cows or send for treatment.
“With the commissioning of this facility, we have big plans to increase milk production, improve product quality and increase the efficiency of work in the field of livestock,” said Mikhail Skarzhinsky, director of the enterprise “Golshany”.
Last year turned out to be productive in milk production in Golshany. Upon reaching the design capacity, the complex will be able to sell 6.9 thousand tons of milk per year, and this is an additional revenue in the amount of more 7.6 million Belarusian rubles.
Elena Stalbovskaya, Head of Grodno Branch of the Development Bank, noted that the Bank has tremendous experience in financing the construction of commercial dairy complexes and a large number of successfully implemented projects throughout the country. Each such facility increases the efficiency of financial and economic activities of agricultural enterprises and ensures an improvement in the standard of living of citizens in the regions.
