The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, visited the Development Bank.
Welcoming the guests, Alexander Egorov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank, noted that the visit of the Kyrgyz delegation to the Republic of Belarus clearly confirms close and friendly relations between our countries and mutual high interest in building mutually beneficial economic cooperation.
“The Development Bank is actively involved in the implementation of a number of key economic areas, one of which is financial support to national export. I am sure that you got a good impression from visiting Belarus and our large industrial, transport, construction and agricultural enterprises, where you got acquainted with the products and services provided. We are excited to discuss all the initiatives of the Kyrgyz side regarding the purchase of Belarusian goods and services, the implementation of construction projects in order to organize the necessary financing,” said the Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank.
Alexander Egorov emphasized that the Development Bank had already done significant work with Kyrgyz partners to create an effective financial infrastructure for the implementation of such projects.
“Today we will take another very important step in this direction by concluding the first cooperation agreement with the State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. I am convinced that the document will serve as a basis for the further development of relations and their transition to a practical financial plane,” summed up the Head of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus.
Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, thanked for the warm welcome and noted that the program of the visit to the Republic of Belarus was very rich and productive.
“During the visit we studied the work of Belarusian enterprises in various sectors of the economy, saw their production capacities and products. We are interested in close cooperation and exchange of experience in all spheres of the economy and would like Belarusian manufacturers and their products to be represented in our country,” said Bakyt Torobaev.
Also, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic invited Belarusian colleagues to visit Kyrgyzstan with a return visit and expressed confidence that the memorandum on cooperation between the Development Banks of the two countries would further strengthen partnerships and contribute to the progressive development of long-term and effective interaction.
Talantbek Omuraliev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic”, thanked the Belarusian colleagues for their promptness in solving the problems related to the preparation of the memorandum and expressed his opinion on the use of the experience of the Belarusian Development Bank and its mechanisms to further increase trade between the two countries.
“Our nations are very close in spirit. I am confident that this will help to build business relations at a high professional level, and cooperation between our financial organizations will make a serious contribution to the strengthening of friendly relations between our states,” said Talantbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the promising areas of cooperation, as well as work on joint projects.
At the end of the meeting, Alexander Egorov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus”, and Talantbek Omuraliev, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “State Development Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic”, signed a memorandum on cooperation, including in the field of export financing.
