Employees of the Development Bank took part in the republican charity event "Our Children"
The republican charity event "Our Children" is a common tradition that has been going on for more than 25 years. Every year, on the eve of New Year holidays, the Development Bank takes part in this marathon of good deeds and visits specialized educational institutions.
This year wasn’t an exception. On the first day of the republican campaign employees of the Development Bank visited the sponsored orphanage No. 7 "Sem Ya" and congratulated the children on the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
Addressing the students, Kanstantsin Pankevich, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank, noted that New Year and Christmas - time of miracles, when hopes and cherished wishes come true.
"On the eve of these bright holidays I wish you good health, success in your studies, sports achievements and the fulfillment of the most daring plans," Kanstantsin Pankevich said.
Employees of the Development Bank presented each child with New Year's gifts and a projector for watching educational videos together.
The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank noted that taking care of children is one of the priorities of the state social policy. Therefore, the republic pays considerable attention to the health, upbringing and education of the younger generation.
"On New Year's Eve, it is especially important to give every child the opportunity to find themselves in a fairy tale and believe in a miracle, make even their smallest dreams come true. All the time of our cooperation with the orphanage "Sem Ya", which can already be called friendship, the Development Bank strives to ensure that the assistance provided to the orphanage is not only tasty and pleasant, but also useful for the physical, creative and intellectual development of its pupils, as well as contributes to their comfortable and safe living," Kanstantsin Pankevich said.
The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank stressed that helping children is the responsibility of the older generation.
"Our task is to create conditions for the full development of each child and help them become successful and happy people in the future," Kanstantsin Pankevich added.
The New Year's charity event "Our Children" takes place in Belarus from December 15, 2023 to January 15, 2024. Every year, during the campaign, heads of government bodies, local authorities, representatives of business, public and other organizations visit children's boarding schools and family-type homes, guardianship and foster families, families that raise children with disabilities, centers for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation, hospitals and congratulate children on New Year and Christmas.
