Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank participated in the ceremony of transferring the Turov cross to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus

On November 26, 2020 Andrey Zhishkevich, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus took part in the ceremony of transferring to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus of one of the reconstructed crosses of the Turov Diocese of 12th-13th century.
The event held in the National Library of Belarus was attended by Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl Veniamin, Patriarchal Exarch of all Belarus; Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus Vladimir Gusakov; Director General of the National Library of Belarus Roman Motulsky.
The reconstruction of the Turov Diocese cross of 12th-13th centuries was concluded in September 2020. Two identical crosses were made in accordance with medieval technologies – for Turov Diocese and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The jeweler Oleg Ermolovich created the crosses, while the required financial support was granted by the Development Bank.
