Vera Lapko – a Master of Sports, a member of the national team of the Republic of Belarus, winner of the championships of the Republic of Belarus as well as a member of the social project of the Development Bank "Young Tennis Stars" fought to the top four of the Wimbledon junior tennis tournament.
In the quarterfinals in straight sets she successfully played with American Michele Gordon - 6: 3, 7: 6 (7: 4).
Vera showed her best result coming in the semi-finals of the singles tournament "Grand Slam" for juniors up to 18 years.
In addition, paired with Teresa Migalikova from Slovakia, she won the title of finalist (2nd place) in the doubles final of the junior "Wimbledon."
