The Resolution No91 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus determines the additional mechanism of financing through leasing organizations of the Republic of Belarus within the frames of the Development Bank’s program of supporting small and medium-sized enterprises.
Within the frames of realizing the Government Program of Agriculture Development in the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020 the Development Bank announced a tender for selecting investment projects for pig –breeding complexes construction.

Within the frames of the first Belarus-Africa Forum a Framework Agreement was signed regarding opening a USD 150 million credit facility by the Development Bank to African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank). The credit facility is aimed at financing export deliveries of Belarusian goods, works, services to more than 40 countries of African continent.
In Abu-Dhabi, UAE, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Development Bank and Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (UAE), providing for granting to the Development Bank of a long-term credit facility in the amount of USD 25 million for implementation of joint initiatives regarding support to projects of micro, small and medium-sized business.
Within the frames of an International Conference “XIV CIS and Baltic States Bond Congress” the Development Bank received an award of Cbonds Awards CIS 2017 in the category “The best analytics of financial markets of Belarus”.
Fitch Ratings affirmed a long-term foreign currency Issuer Default Ratings for JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus as B- with a stable outlook.

The Development Bank became a co-manager of sovereign Eurobonds issue.
In Minsk the 3rd meeting of Joint Commission on Bilateral Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of Lao People’s Democratic Republic was held. The Belarusian party of the meeting was headed by the Chairman of the Management Board of the Development Bank S. N. Roumas
S&P Global Ratings affirmed the long-term and short-term credit ratings of JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus as B-\B (with “Stable” outlook) .
Fitch Ratings upgraded the outlook for long-term credit rating of the Development Bank from “Stable” to “Positive”, the rating is affirmed as “B-“.

An official ceremony of opening a new branch office building of JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus was held in Vitebsk. During the opening ceremony the presentation of a new illustrated book “Symphony of Centuries” was held, which was prepared within the frames of the Development Bank’s social project “Cultural Heritage of Belarus”.
In the territory of the country complex Rancho (Gomel district, Studenaya Guta village) the 4th Republican Tourist Rally among the employees of JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus was held .

The Development Bank held a festive ceremony of closing of the School Bus social program. During the 5 years of program realization the 330 specially equipped school buses were transferred as a sponsor support to regional departments of education.
The Development Bank’s subsidiary DB-Consult was awarded with a diploma of the international exhibition “Furniture-2017” in the category “The best furniture display”.
The Development Bank defined the winners of the tender for receiving loans to implement investment projects for the construction of complexes for pig raising and feeding, pig farming complexes. The concessional financing shall be granted to 2 agricultural entities.

The Development Bank took part in the forum held in Paris and dedicated to Belarus-African cooperation in the area of supplies of Belarusian equipment and fertilizers to Africa with the involvement of French companies.
The international rating agency S&P Global Ratings upgraded the long-term credit ratings of the Development Bank to B \ with “Stable” outlook, the short-term ratings are affirmed as B.
During the annual meetings of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund JSC Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and the World Bank signed a Loan Agreement for USD 60 million for the realization of a new project “Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise Access to Finance in the Republic of Belarus”.

The Development Bank and LLC ASB Leasing signed a Framework Agreement on cooperation in the area of enhanced access for small and medium-sized entrepreneurship to financing.
The Development Bank has become the partner of Global Entrepreneurship Week and a co-organizer of VII International Entrepreneurship Forum, during which the best partner-banks were awarded for successful cooperation in realization of SME financial support program.
On the basis of the Republican Center for Olympic Training “Stayki” the 2nd Republican Volleyball Competition among the employees of the Development Bank was held. After the tough struggle the victory was won by the team of Brest branch.
The Development Bank took part in the largest worldwide start-up conference “Startup Nations Summit” in Tallinn (Estonia).

The Chief Accountant of the Development Bank M.A.Orlovskaya won the award of the International Association of Book-keepers IAB Awards 2017 in the nomination “The Best Bookkeeper in Banking in the Republic of Belarus”.
